Huh. That actually does make sense. (Otherwise I hate the "most recent at the top" layout for a single discussion and am completely unsurprised to see it on Twitter and YouTube and MySpace.)

Gif threads, though, aren't discussions, don't even try to have a single context, and basically are all about what's been posted last. I'll work in an exception like the one that makes the camphone thread go backwards. Possibly tomorrow?

If I ever get around to the legendary LS 2.0 build, I'll see about working that in for all threads as an option that you can turn on for yourself, with my discompliments.

Cool with me, I can't read backwards anyway, but what about my beer?

Could I get a gonad scrub, followed by a warm rub once you're all finished?

The problem with this is that it'll only encourage Wotak to submit more links like that, and frankly, I don't think they're that interesting. I mean, if someone wants to start a citizen's watch forum thread (or web site or what have you), I'll help out, but is every cop-brutality story swarmworthy? Insert your thoughts here.

I think the voting patterns will eventually shift towards rejecting this type of link with greater regularity.

Done.

I have to target individual threads, which works for us since there are only like 3 picture threads and everyone posts to them instead of starting new ones. New ones won't reverse-sort until I notice them and work them into the exception list.

Unfortunately this is probably true although I will tend to want to submit these links anyway because I'm a meeping idiot. Also, I hate the majority of cops and think that this country should focus on the quality of its police forces rather than quantity. There are far to many meep cops running the streets these days doing far to many meep things.

vasudeva: I mean, if someone wants to start a citizen's watch forum thread (or web site or what have you), I'll help out, but is every cop-brutality story swarmworthy? Insert your thoughts here.

No, I don't think every cop-brutality story is swarmworthy. I submit maybe 1 out of 5 that I find. I'm particularly interested in the assholes that think a taser is the answer to every conflict.

Perhaps an meep cop forum thread would be ok but it's not as convenient as the SwarmIt tool while cruising the net for swarm content.

I'm open to other ideas but I think the meephead cop demographic is one that deserves its own special little place on linkswarm. Alas, this may just be another one of those situations where I am perpetually wrong and I am always willing to accept that as fact.

Vas- is every cop-brutality story swarmworthy?

meep no, you know, but it does seem to be a recurring theme of interest.

I dunno who the meep is voting on this meep, even some of the ones I submit prolly shouldn't make it. Made me wanna level up again and have my one vote.

Done. - Thank you Sir, may I have another?
