Music that you can fuk to

Some people people dont enjoy it but I like having some background music while I lay pipe. Ive noticed recently that the playlist is getting rather stale so i thought id poll the swarm for your wisdom of fuk musics and do an exchange type program thing.

Thank you Mr Parker That's kinda cool and atmospheric. I ain't meepin, ain't even jerkin off but that's good background music. I hadn't hardly heard of no TYCO, but I went to the website- http://tychomusic.com/index-old.html and it automatically started playing down the list of almost all their stuff from past albums. Can't think of a way to steal it from the flash player but it's good to be exposed to some new stuff.

It took me less than fifteen seconds to google a torrent of the Tycho dicography. Do the same, then send them $5.

Never have really done the torrent thing, having been spoiled on Usenet before. Also I've got a fairly slow cable connection and it just ain't worth the wait much less $5 I oughta give to LS.

God damnmit, this is brilliant!!! Plus anything with King Diamond is that much better

Dag, since you like Tycho, I figure I'll throw a few more out there that are similar, just in case.

If you haven't heard Thievery Corporation, you should; Versions is a good album to start with. Very chill, ambient.

Also good is The Knife. It's more vocal, and the chick has a weird sort of accent, like Bjork, but not nearly as distinct. It's less ambient, but still good. Silent Shout is the album I have, and it's good.

Lastly Ratatat. I don't think you'll get the right idea about them unless you listen to an album. Random songs don't do them justice. Try the album Classics. It starts off kinda meh, but the second track is pretty ok, and everything afterward is excellent. I wouldn't describe them as ambient at all, but they still have something in common with the others. I can't quite place it, but I always listen to these four bands/artists or some combination of them together.

So there you go. Got anything for me?

I've always preferred some unobtrusive, if not romantic music for the background while bonin'.Lotsa instrumentals do fine but the synth new age stuff always works, although by now just gettin some is an accomplishment, set and setting are tertiary.

This guy^ Jean Michel Jarre is a pioneer in that kinda music goin back 'fore you were born I bet. He's as much recognized for his performances to 1million or more and at the pyramids as the music anymore .

Also, I can't think of a Doors or a NIN song that doesn't have a meeping- conducive tempo.
