brazilian post punk is relatively good. it's like early new order and joy division and a certain ratio all had a big party inside of the factory records studio and made a weird mulatto rape baby.

corredor polones (apparently means "polish corridor"?) by patife band is one great example. it's a schizophrenic record; the style is all over the place.

ffa coffi pawb is a welsh band. name means, litereally, "everybody's coffee beans," but phonetically in welsh it means "meep off everyone." gruff rhys was the lead of this band, and he currently releases meep prolifically with super furry animals. it's similar to sfa, only in welsh, and it's kind of psychedelic/noise influenced.

can't find the album anywhere for free, but here's a myspace. check out track 4, valium.

les nubians are french sisters (sisters as in related, and sistahs as in blax) who are singer/songwriters and have kind of a funky erykah badu jazz record vibe. they released a pretty excellent first album, not sure about the other meep they've done.

boris are a japanese noise band, although they are kind of innovative and meep around with style. they released a collabo with black metal whateverthemeep group sun0)))) and then released a psychadelic influenced record that met with kind of mediocre reviews. the "single" from it (if you could call it a single...) rules, but the rest is just ok.

dungen is a swedish band. i think. finnish? who meeping cares. they're good. kind of like if led zeppelin wasn't terrible.

plastillina mosh means "playdough mosh pit" in english. i don't know what it means in mexican. their first album is good but pretty uneven, because it veers all over the meeping place. there's some electronic rapping stuff, some punkish stuff, some weird mishmash meep, but at least it's interesting? apparently mexicans have better taste because this weird band seems to be popular.

You can find their music on myspace for all three bands. Soulseek is a good source for getting obscure music albums. Sigur Ros( made up their own language) and Dungen are both very good bands and have already been mentioned.
