I was banned from attending family holidays for one solid year when I was 23, including Christmas and a family wedding. The reason for being excommunicated (for a finite time period, lulz) was my pregnancy. My grandfather was dying' and if he saw me getting bigger and bigger and then never see the baby (I was planning to give her up for adoption) I'd literally kill him with the shock and heartache of it. My favorite uncle was ousted for a holiday or two because he told his sister that she shouldn't really get to celebrate mother's day since her kids are adopted. Love him.

when does the 'glow' start man? my gf is pregnant just now (10-12 weeks) and 'glowing' is the polar opposite of how i would describe her...

she does have a certain psychotic glow in her eye though...
