Boulder, CO mini travel guide by gethoht. Disclaimer: I didn't go to college here and I've only lived here for a little over a year, so I'm probably not the best reference when it comes to the bar scene.
-Food and Drink- Best Azn foodz : Chez Thuy(vietnamese) or Sushi Tora (Sushi/Japanese) Best Mexican food : Hands down has to be Efrains(killer margaritas too)! Best steakhouse: The Cork The BEST steak in town. Previous employer spent $300 here on me and 2 of my coworkers once. Best start-off bar: Boulder Cafe Excellent Happy Hour... good food to absorb the booze you'll drink the rest of the night. Best finishing bar: The Sundown Saloon aka "the downer". Honorable mention goes to The Walrus Saloon Hoppingest club: My personal favorite on fridays is Conor O' Neills Bar with highest boobie ratio: any bar when college is in session, but i'll arbitrarily pick The 13th Street Saloon (only when college is in session... drunk college girls like mechanical bulls) Best chair throwin bar: The Catacombs Bar The only place in Boulder where I've almost had a serious multi-person rumble. Stupid frat boys.... Best dive/meephole: The Sundown Saloon aka "the downer" making a second appearance on my list. According to the website they recently remodeled... they're probably still a meephole.
-Accomodations- Best deal: There are no deals in boulder. Go camping if you want a deal. Seediest: I've never had to get a hotel room in boulder, no info sorry. Most Posh: This is easy... St. Julien
-Attractions- Sports meep: Go to denver and see a broncos/avalanche/rockies game or something. Something more "Bouldery" would be some rock climbing at The Spot Amusement Park meep: Go to denver and check out Elitch Gardens Though I don't think it's that great really. Interesting meep: Chataqua Park if you're into hiking/climbing/general outdoorsy meep(I am). Also if you're in Boulder, you might as well drive another 20 minutes up to the mountain town of Nederland, CO Weird little town with crazy vibe. Gateway to the Indian Peaks Wilderness area.
-Shopping- Best Mall: 29th Street Mall Disclaimer: I meeping hate malls. Groovy Stores: Red Letter Books Used Book Store. Rebecca's Herbal Apothecary Handcrafted herbal remedies, very knowledgeable staff if you're into that sort of thing. Neptune Mountaineering: The only store I've ever actually been to where you could find EVERYTHING you need to oufit an expedition to everest except sherpas. I could spend thousands at this store. No I'm not exaggerating.
Now get the meep out my town meepes!

This is cool Kahuna. I'll stop being a lazy meep for a minute and add my local content. Besides the obvious water sports like fishing diving and boating, there is a lot of cool meep here in the Thumb of MI. Here's a short list. If any Swarmers are ever in the area, ring me up. I'll give you the nickel tour. I'm sure Chex can add to this list as well.

After much deliberation with myself about the travel guide, I realized that as I am the poorest man in all of Ft Collins Colorado, and am not qualified to comment on meep that I know nothing about.
I don't know anything about the local bars,It is a college town, so there are many in the old town area, and around the campus of CSU. These bars are full of kids, so I avoid them. My favorite place to drink is a trailer park on the north end of town, the Poudre Valley trailer park, affectionately refered to by the locals as meep Valley. It is a good place to get beat up.
I don't know meep about the restauraunts here. I couldn't point one out, but if you are down on your luck, I recommend breakfast at the CCN Mission on the weekends. Its free, and so is the tuberculosis. If you were feeling really sleazy, go to the Open Door Mission, a meeppit run by an ex con turned preacher man. There is always the food bank........Lots of Whole Foods leftovers. Got me some Piggly Wiggly soy sauce this week!
There are Hotels and Motels. We have a Hilton, We have a Super 8. My pick for the swarm is a no tell motel on the north end (near the trailer park) called the Lamplighter, or Cracklighter, depending on who you are.
There is a mall. I have avoided it, and have been there twice. Its a dump, full of wanna be gang bangers, beefin over food court turf.
Here's what I have to say about the town. 300 plus days of sunshine a year. You can ride the bike anywhere, and be a total meep doing it. Nobody cares.
There is access to the foothills, and Rocky Mountain park is close. The Poudre River is a lot like the Genesee or Ashtabula river back east. It is still freezing from runoff of meltwater, and I have sat there a lot. There is a bike trail all the way to the source, I understand.
There are like 8 microbrewers, and theres always Budweiser. You can get tours of all. New Belgium, maker of Fat Tire, and O'dell, maker of 90 Shilling are here. Beer Beer Beer. Smoke is second to none. Lots of shops full of cool glass.
There are more pizza joints here per person than anywhere in the nation. I recommend the little ones with no advertising. Pick the Guinea name. Cozzolas is my pick, in old town. Best pie since I left Ohio.
Thats it. No map, no useful Data, Ranked in the top five places to work, raise a family, retire, bike joust in the nation for like ever.
I have traveled the world a lot, and there is no place I love more.Clean air and water, sunshine, college girls to look at,peace for the family. It just keeps growing and growing.
There are your datas as I know them, Feel free to hit me up if you come here.On second thought , skip it. I'm boring.
