Blarg, im going to have to miss my hometown tomfukery again. Next year meepits the wagon cometh.

Post here if you want a room -- we're reserving. We'll try to do it in a way that lets us add more rooms on later, but I dunno if I can guarantee that.

Left to our own devices, I think we'll get three rooms -- the party room, one for me/LBP/SBP/whoever-else-I'm-meep, and one that will get paid for by somebody for sure (mundhra?). Then I'll try my best to figure out how many people remain that are committed, divide by four, and get that many double rooms on top. However that plays out, we'll divvy it up as sensible. If you don't specifically request a room, you'll end up meepsies-to-bumsies with god knows who, with a tab for one quarter of one room, plus one attendee's share of the party room, times number of nights stayed.

But if you want to guarantee your own room, speak up now. We'll probably bust a move tomorrow night on the reservations.

Since Friday into Saturday looks to be my rock out time, I intend to chip in for room space.

I'm local so getting a room all to my lonesome is just silly. As it stands, I with LK on cheapest option available.

As far as bumsiepartners are concerned, I fukin snore, so keep that in mind.

To be clear, I'm blocking meeps four to a room, figuring two peeps per bed and two beds per room. So without a specific "please reserve me a room for me" post, you may, for example, be in a room with up to three other dildos who are all going to snore their faces off. (Incidentally, history teaches us that this never gets planned perfectly and there's often a fifth, sixth, and possibly seventh meep on your floor, as well. I'm of a mind to encourage this type of all-in-one-womb camraderie -- with the caveat that this ain't going to be luxurious and predictable unless you specifically request such.) Seacrest out.

To be clear, because I see everyone posting "I dont want to spend money on my own room", I don't imagine paying to sleep in the party room will really be that much cheaper than paying for a quarter of a quiet room, unless 8 of you really are planning to sleep on the floor of that one room and thus split it 12 ways with the four people taking up the beds.

Scenario to illustrate the math:

Let's say we reserve 3 rooms for 3 nights (Th, Fr, Sa). Each room can sleep 4 people, 2 to a bed. Each room costs, say, $80/night.

Party room, Friday night: two people sleep on each bed, with some loser on the floor. Say two losers on the floor. Six people in the room total, stepping on each other's heads, being loud, and Gary farts like an ox. My room, Friday night: me, the LBP, the SBP, and an imaginary friend with a degree in physical therapy (meep massage). Third room, Friday night: Mundhra and wife.

The people in the party room split the $80 six ways, making their hotelroom cost like $14 for Friday.

The people in my room split the cost four ways. $20 a pop, or maybe the imaginary friend gets a bye for happy ending.

Mundhra ponies up $80 because he's married and that's how it works I think.

Looking over the thread, I think we're fit for three rooms total and really probably four. Because historically the sleeping patterns shift (who is where when) I think I'm going to try to collect costs each day based on what happened the night before.

Early indications look like $80-$100 per room per night is a good ballpark. We're going to be within 15 minutes of the airport, I think, and within 15 minutes of downtown. You almost certainly don't want to drive in Boston if you can help it.

I'll let you know about the block-o-rooms deal. It may be easier to let us pay for it upfront, to ensure we're all close.

OK, I've reserved 3 rooms in Malden (thanks Wrecker and LBP).

These rooms are evidently the meeptiest rooms in the whole world, according to TripAdvisor, but they're a 20-minute T-ride to downtown and cost $99/night. They have two large beds. (Evidently availability sucks a big fat meep right now.)

This is hitting just shy of the $800 mark, so if I can get mundhra and truenative to confirm that, yes, they want to personally spend $200 for lodging for the weekend, then rooms 2 and 3 will be forever theirs, faithfully, and I'll call and get a fourth room for all you quasi-committal meepers to sleep in and for us to meep up generally.

That room will suck to sleep in, doubtless, and will cost $99 divided by [NUMBER_OF_meepERS] per night.

EDIT: To be exact, Thursday Sept 27th there exists only one room reservation, which will have me, the LBP, the SBP, Kahuna and Clavis in it. A quick scan of this thread doesn't suggest I need correction but apply it if warranted.
