Im a "wanna be" web designer by day. Musician By night.
I really like Metal music. But I Do listen to everything and enjoy most of it.

Matt: you may be interested in knowing I've just found Outworld 2006 on a torrent site and am downloading it. The video was kind of glampop but I'm intrigued by the reviews calling it 'progressive', which I have a fondness for.

urm, no i havent. Ive never mentioned it once, let alone promoted it. Yes i promoted my old stuff back with the old account, but not once int the last 6 months, or using the name "Braaap", ever even mentioned my music before.

I had to reformat my hard-drive, but forgot to make a note of all of my saved passwords stored by Firefox. So i lost all of my passwords to everything, including the email i used to sign up with. So had to make a new one. That'll teach me for using diff passwords for everything.

I must say I'm happy you came out of the closet... Maybe you already did mention it :) It is very rare that someone who goes away, comes back under a new name and lets us know...
It really is important that we get to carry over our contempt and allow you to restore respect slowly rather that just erase your balance in the iritation bank and start fresh.

Important lessons that this thread has blessed young and old alike with:
-The admin can reset user passwords for people. (Crazy, I know.)
-Using a second account means you can't ever have spammed too much.
-Submitting links to your videos is not the same thing as submitting links to your music and should be considered a separate act entirely. This way, when your self-promotion bucket starts to fill up, just pull out the other media type and you've got a meepload of new credit to burn.
-If you haven't done it in at least six months, time to do it again!
-This thread really is about xihilisk after all. Sorry Matt.

I started the LS Jam forum, and here's one of the first sentences typed out:
"Post mp3's, full albums, videos - whatever. The only exception is the posting of any Grindcore will get your mother raped."
The forum was started for the LS users who play and record music to hear each others projects, learn from each other and eventually record with each other. Of course I can't make commitments to fuking anything anymore, but that was the plan.

zildjianmatt, I kinda liked that... I was more mesmorized by the incredible amount of swirling hair, than the singing. I think if at the very end you guys had put an ad like "Brought to you by Head and Shoulders! Nothing beats head and shoulders for smooth silky hair" I think I would have pissed myself laughing :)
Liked the tune though! Not really my bag, but I can respect the "rockstar" revival@!

Your singer has an awesome 80s rock scream. I also second teh hair flailing observation.
Your music makes me want to drive fast. Good 'in the car' music. Grindcore (or post-grindcore, sorry) on the other hand, tends to make me want to stab myself in the crotch.

It is good, i loike it. The guitar sound is immense, what amps/cabs are you using? My ultimate goal for metal guitar tone is something akin to At The Gates' "Slaughter of the Soul", the album with undoubtedly the best guitar sound ever recorded. The production is absolutely killer too.

You know, through various audio-player-software foibles, this has managed to remain on my playlist over the past few months in the "Devin Townsend/Type O Negative" meep-rock area, and I've ended up listening to the meep out of it, and essentially consider it part of my local-box worktime routine. Thanks.
