BBP-R, July 25

So it looks like the July 25 BBP is actually happening in Boston now, thanks to Meta's airline ticket.

Are we all clear on this, and prepared for the consequences?

Me and fukpants are driving up on that Friday, maybe starting off here at noon, and maybe starting off at 5, so we'll arrive between 6 and midnight on Friday. Either way, we'll be there to rock in style.

kHz' party is happening on Friday night, which should be good, and that leaves us Saturday all day and night to fuk around in Boston and destroy things and generally fuk meep up. Sunday morning I reserve for espresso and lounging with insults, perhaps some last-minute rapekill.

We're also getting a hotel room, because I suspect the housing amenities will be strained. Anyone want to room with us? No crisco meep, I promise.

Not really though. But you do get to room with the cool kids!

Well, that should disturb you.

So this is the first time you've ever flown, huh? It warms the meeples of my heart that you're doing it for us. But that doesn't change the fact that you're going to die up there!

Yeah, there will be madness. And by the time that you get up here, meta will have been residing in boston for a few more hours than you, which will give me ample time to make a delicious stew out of his BRAINS and FLESH. No... i am kidding.. i wouldn't do that... meta's would probably stink up the place to meep, living or dead. His future is undecided.

So anyway... I suppose all i have to do is sit back and wait for you meeps and batardets to get up here. I will be supplying the drunken meeps to everyone on friday evening, but note that the rest of the weekend is up to you. Marlene, Ben and I will pick out a righteous bar for us to go to on saturday night, and I do think that some live music is in order. Does anyone like poetry reads? No? Yeah, me neither, but if we go to one, I am sure we could make jackasses out of ourselves. Handguns? Lemur rape? "Hey old lady, give me back my purse.... meep."

So, the good, the bad and the bobo will be with us all. I think that by the end of the weekend, one of us might die. If this happens, don't tell meta's parents ANYTHING.

I think Jillian's would be supercool. Also, Boston Beerworks. Also also, that Union House thing LOki never got to see.

Jillians is for underagers and meeping whaahooz that like to play video games and pool. meep.. maybe that would be a nice place to go.. we could stay right around the fenway area.. it has the bigger places to hang out in. Boston Billliards, beerworks... loki can go to the Ramrod... I am sure we will figure it all out nice and smooth-like. OR we can just sit on the street and drink whiskey until we meep ourselves...

As much as I would love to pay a cover at the door (ahem, sarcasm), I think we should think about places other than Jillian's or Boston Billiards. Boston Beer Works is always a good choice, but let's explore the main options closest to subway stops:

Government Center (Faneuil Hall) - Purple Shamrock - Union Oyster House - Bell in Hand - Hong Kong - Kitty O'Shea's - Jose McIntyre's - Black Rose

North Station - Hooters - Boston Beer Works - Harp

Central Square (Cambridge) - The Good Life - The Field - Cantab Lounge - Phoenix Landing - Enormous Room - Middle East - Green Street Grill

Harvard Square (Cambridge) - Hong Kong - Shay's - Grendel's Pub - People's Republik - The Plough and the Stars - The Cellar - Daedalus

Other - Cactus Club - Sam Adams Brew Pub - Harpoon Brewery - The Burren - B-Side Lounge

Yes, there are some decent places where khz lives, but let's try to leave his sphere of influence, eh?

Hooters? all the way to Boston to go to a "Hooters"?

I couldn't think of anything else by North Station. Besides, they have great wings.

Also, I think you should release your crazy fear of paying a cover. I forgot Jillian's has a cover, but whatever it is, it can't be too much, and I think it's an experience not to be missed. They have nothing like that out here, and I'll bet nothing like it in Kansas, either. If it still bugs you to no end, I'll pay your cover, sweetheart.

Boston Beerworks sucks donkey meep. Jillian's is always crowded, but if we're going for pool, Boston Billiards is also in that area. However, if we're going for pool and people want to be able to smoke, Flattop's in Cambridge has them beat hands-down. And the food's decent... all depends whether you like the Cambridge area though. I live there, so you know my vote.

I am surprised that so many of you can be so uniformly meep, and with such consistent force. Very well.

We will NOT go to the much-reviled Jillian's, then. We will NOT enjoy raster-based graphics and old-school video games with our booze.

We will go somewhere else. And I will be wearing my shirt that says "I'm with G.A.Y: All of them."

So for those of you who aren't yet aware, we are forgoing any activity near Fenway friday night as new information has come to light: There is a Sox/Yankees game that night. (For anyone who doesn't live around here, I'll have you know the common sense fact that trying to hang out in the Fenway area during a game is immensely stupid since you will only be stuck in traffic for about 5.4 hours and will be surrounded by a mass of unruly mobs and retards, and trying to hang out in that area during a SOX/YANKS game is just HAHAHAHA fuking insane and literally, impossible.) Khz, we will do your birthday celebration happy fun time during the saturday night festivities. Ben's got the good idea for bars for friday night and Saturday seems like a good Union Oyster House-North End-Fanueil Hall scene time. There are some good places around there that would be prime for the Great Boston Beer Challenge starring b0bo, fukpants, and the notorious Battle Hat. Things are looking to be in the direction of RAWK!

(Or something similar)

We know you are having the party and can't change the plans, the deal is we are going elsewhere but will do our own birthday thing for you the following evening. The fenway area doesn't scare anyone, it's the simple fact (of which I'm sure you are aware) that those who are driving will simply not be able to get anywhere near it and can forget about finding anywhere to park within 26 blocks. It sucks that the game in Fenway and your party in Fenway are on the same night, but all we can do is plans things reasonably for all folks involved. Holla?

hahhaha.. marlene.. lets take a look at this for a second.

1... you are being crazy..

2... I talked it over with my roommate, we will do the party thing on saturday. cause she has to work on friday

3... Other than that it is not a hard thing to get into fenway when there is a game going on, I live here.. i know.

4... my place would have made for a nice meeting spot for everyone to figure it all out and now, we are forced to meet up in some public arena, but thats ok.. you think this is easier. So, you are on top of it. I have faith in you.

Oh dear christ. This is getting more retarded by the minute. Okay:

1: I don't know why you think I am the only one with these notions and singled ME out.

2: This gathering was to be for MR peeps to meet up, hang out, have good times. It was assumed and hoped (still is) that you would be able to join us. You had planned your party before we set this date, you mentioned the party to us AFTER we set this date, so I am unsure as to why it is so important that we have to plan around this party.

3: Attempting to drive around Fenway is ridiculous and dumb during game time. I live here too. I know. Ask anyone else. I'm not even the one who brought that point up.

4: Going to your party on friday can be done if that is what everyone wants to do. I personally have no reluctance about it because I am not attempting to drive there, but I'm considering the people who are. We have plans already for saturday - I'm not sure if you posted this before or after you knew that and said you were cancelling the party altogether.

If you want to cancel the party, that's your choice, although since you planned it before we told you about the bbp, I don't know why you want to cancel it. Have it on friday and we'll find a way to get there, simple as that. Because we have people going great distances to be here, I'm only trying to consider what's best for them and that they have a good time. The rest of us? WE CAN GO SCREW CUZ WE SUCK sob

cow meep is lovely

The above was a post by the meepER...sorry.
