sharpvision xv - P10U lcd display problem
I 've had this stashed away in the closet for years now, all because I screwed it up one sat. nite in a drunken, pot induced stupor. I went to power it up and there was no display, so I checked the rca video input cable to make sure it was secure. It was , and this pissed me off, cause , it should meeping work. Without thinking that the OTHER end of the video cable connected to my av reciever could be the culprit, I mashed the rca cable input into the sharpvision connector panel WAY too hard, and lost the display completely, no bluescreen display, no nothing, just light on the wall. In a panic, I put more pressure against the video input, then the picture came on, but only when pressing hard against the input. My output to the av was the problem, and I had meeped up my projector for nothing meep that made me meeping sick beyond belief. After that , the display would only work if pressure was used on the input, the entire time of use. After afew weeks of that , to prove once and for all i am my own worst enemy, I took the back off , thinking maybe I had gotten something loose and could push it back into place. BIG MISTAKE. This made the display not work at all, even with pressure applied. I could'nt afford to take it anywhere, so I just stuck it in the closet. I was at my sis's house yesterday and she was looking at projectors in best buy ads , wishing she one for her kids to watch. I told her I that if I could get mine working without having to spend any $ , it was hers . So, here I am, asking for help. You fellow swarmers are smart meeps, any ideas?

You have a broken connection.
Get a soldering iron.
Get some solder.
Open the box up.
Find the broken thing.
Fix it.
Close box.
Enjoy.
