Yeah, that's the rub. And of course, you can't forget the recent legal actions taken against downloaders. I think in the one that was in the news a few weeks ago, the download sites came out ahead, but that doesn't mean the lawsuits aren't going to stop. I'm not up to speed on the legal issues, so I might be talking out of my meep here, but if you were to start something like this you'd probably have to think about hiring a lawyer at some point.

and concerning BT, i'm probably shooting myself in the foot here, but couldn't you make like a private forum, just for beta and alpha class people? As far as lawsuits are going, I don't believe the BT community has been hit yet at all, because these files aren't going out on a massive network like kaaza etc..

when I first came here it was for the links. Now, not so much. I think I googled the word megarad and stumbled upon this gem called LS- I am proud of the administrators like vasudeva, KHZ, and marf; who contribute to this clustermeep..Iv'e always liked the humor on this site, that's why I keep coming back. Since the majority of posts ive read lately deal more with the fate of linkswarm instead of topics about jacking off to forrest fires and participating in cattle mutalation; you know, stuff we all get horny about..Just stop meeping around and start charging admission. If 500 people like it so much they might pay,, However, if not,, loose some of these gey features like textwars and G-mail. bring it back to when it didn't cost so much to run. Or, change it into something only elitist can use,, either way, I like this place. I like to contribute as much as I can, but I'm not going to pay money for slick features and elistist meep slapping..

However, I will pay money for a site that is an interactive webtool/computer basic tool/ tips on programming / design / visual basic / flash / filesharing----- ect-- but in simple comon terms- a site in which any dumb meep like myself could utilize basic computer knowledge without going out on the web for it,, still keeping the edge and humor....
